STAR CITY CASINO

ALWAYS GREAT FOOD & GREAT DAY OUT

Meet at the Garden Buffet by 12 noon then we can all go in together and get a table to ourselves.

Cost is $25ea for the buffet

Easy to get there train to central then the 'Light Rail tram' to Star City, or park your car at Star City -$20

The 8th. Annual Aust/NZ DOWNUNDER Vindi reunion—

Christchurch, south island NZ

Progress report  The organising committee are going along well with the Venue, food, music & entertainment all booked as well as the outing for Saturday which will be a coach to the harbour then a cruise on the famous old steam boat, lunch onboard followed by a vist to the Maritime Museum.

And on sunday the traditional BBQ Lunch.

VINDI PICNIC

NORAH HD, FEB 18 2008

Heavy rain & black clouds made the day look a bit on the doubtfull side early in the day but for the brave who ignored the signs it turned out to be a really beautiful day for a picnic.  And the place chosen for us ( the lions park on Norah hd.) by Len Britton really fitted the bill with extensive views up & down the coast and rows of ships anchored out waiting to load coal in near by Newcastle.
